We are releasing a new line of products under XPRS name - consisting of 7 products. The line is based on PCI Express interface, and allows using peripheral products outside of computer systems, through cables.
The main link for the XPRS line, which also lists all of the products, has links describing the way of installation and use - in images, for each individual product.

We announce the release of support in our software for Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.
The support is for our USB2 and SSI2 lines of products under both 32bit and 64bit releases of Windows 7.
Friday, Oct 23rd 2009 - Major Linux update of our installation software
We are providing a major new release of our installation software under Linux operating system.
The current release discontinue support for 2.4.xx Linux kernels, and provide support only for 2.6.xx kernels - for both 32bit and 64bit releases.
The article on our Linux support has been updated to reflect the latest install software release.
In addition, we provide a new article on the quick and easy evaluation under Linux of our USB2-ISA/PCMCIA and SSI2-ISA/PCI/PCMCIA products.

We announce the release and the general availability for purchase from our customers of two new products in the SSI2 line of products - 'SSI2 ISA X3' and 'SSI2 PCI X3' products.
The 'SSI2 ISA X3' product allows using up to 3 ISA bus peripheral cards outside of desktop and notebook computers.
The 'SSI2 PCI X3' product allows using up to 3 PCI bus peripheral cards outside of desktop and notebook computers.
A specific host card, depending on the computer system - a desktop or a notebook, is needed in order to use the 'SSI2 ISA X3' and 'SSI2 PCI X3' products.

Monday, Nov 10th 2008 - Updated support for software developers using 'SSI2' and 'USB2' based products
Developers of software for ISA, PCMCIA, and PCI peripheral cards used together with our 'SSI2' and 'USB2' products are supported by our 'SDKBUS' product, which includes an API set and sample programs.
We are adding a basic developers support in our installation software - free of charge.
It allows building applications for using peripheral cards.
Normally a developer wanting to use directly hardware have to build a kernel driver for the particular operating system.
Our software support skips the complexity of working on kernel level , and allows easy and convenient development/debug/test on the application level.
In addition, identical source code may be used for multi platform development, under the variety of operating systems we support - Windows/Linux/Mac , and building of 32bit/64bit code.

There is a new edition of our ROHS compliant (lead free) product - USB2ISA-R.
One of our best selling products - USB2ISA, is non ROHS compliant (non lead free) and will be discontinued.
Our customers have a choice of the equivalent - USB2ISA-R or USB2ISA-RA products.
In addition, for our volume orders customers, we are able to provide standard (leaded) / non ROHS compliant versions based on our USB2ISA-R product.
