XPRS
XPRS line of products is ARS Technologies’ fourth generation of products.
The XPRS line of products is based on the PCI Express interface and allows handling of peripheral cards outside of a computer system, through a cable. It consists of: (click on a product name to see the product’s use - in pictures) - host cards - xprs-host-dt on a PCI Express desktop system, or xprs-host-ec on a notebook system with an ExpressCard slot - and peripheral cards - xprs-px-x1 for a PCI Express X1 card, or xprs-px-x16 for a PCI Express X1 - X16 card, or xprs-pci-x1 / xprs-pci-x3 for one or more PCI cards, or xprs-ec for an ExpressCard card, or xprs-cpcie for a Compact PCI Express / PXI Express card

Power Supplies
You’ll need to decide if your ISA, PCI, PCI Express, or PCMCIA card requires additional power to function with our USB2, SSI2, or XPRS type cards. We have articles on determining card voltages and whether or not you need a power supply module, or an external power supply:

Enclosures
ARS Technologies offers single length and double length enclosures for 1, or up to 3 ISA / PCI cards.

Cables
ARS Technologies now offers USB cables for using the USB2 and SSI2 products. You can choose the 3 feet or 15 feet cable.
