(using our products)
(warranty,shipping,return)
The XPRS-PX-X1 connects with our XRPS-HOST-EC card, and allows using of PCI Express -x1 type card outside of a computer system.
If you have a PCI Express type peripheral card, you can use it outside of the computer system, on ExpressCard notebook, with our xprs-host-ec product
Software support
The XPRS line of products function on all operating systems which have support for PCI Express and ExpressCard based (notebook) systems.
Pre-order Considerations
1. Add a host card. The xprs-pci-x1 is supported by xprs-host-ec on a notebook system with an ExpressCard slot
2. Powering .
PCI Express cards require 3.3V for powering, and optionally may use also +12V for powering.
If a peripheral card uses 3.3V with low current consumption, the card may be powered directly through the cables.
If a peripheral card uses 3.3V with low current consumption, and needs +12V with current consumption of up to 50mA, you can contact us and get the XPRS-PWR power module. Specific cards may have high current consumption, beyond the amount of current provided through the cables. In such case, you can contact us and get the PWR-3V product to supply high current on 3.3V, or PWR-12V product, to supply high current on 12V.
3. Enclosures. The XPRS-PX-X1 together with the PCI Express type card may be mounted in an enclosure.
Small PCI Express card may be put in ISA-PCI-B1 (recommended) enclosure.
Longer and larger PCI Express card may be put in our ISA-PCI-B2 enclosure.
